Remember London

I remember when I saw you for the first time,

The weight of my world moved in half-time.

Like in slow motion,

you drew me in like a magnet to steel.

And when I remember London,

I remember it so real.

Your skin and your hair,

and the look in eye

gave me a really good scare!

I dedicate these words to you

and where ever you are

or whatever you will,

know that you changed my heart.

And you gave me something

I will never forget...

and something I will never regret.

And I think of you still,

when I'm all alone.

When I'm all alone,

and I relive the years that I've known.

I see you casting stones;

your megaphone, SHOUTS, from your throne!

A vision of my own

drew me in to your storm.

My eyes could have melted snow,

laser-love wouldn't let me go.

Like papers in the wind,

my head it spinned

and your spirit glowed.

My eyes were open wide

and you flew right in

like you lived inside!

We were...spirits calling in the night;

Restless angels taking flight.

We were...lock-stock rebels laughing light.

I remember, I remember, I remember London.

and I remember love.

Time slipped through our hands;

yours in mine, it turned to sand.

Months of back and forth

when your lively smile

renewed my force.

And dreams of liberties...

when your young,

they're big as the sea.

Choices are like time:

when you have them life's sublime.

But time makes people choose;

come with me,

or you will lose...me...

We were...spirits calling in the night;

Restless angels taking flight.

We were...lock-stock rebels laughing light.

I remember, I remember, I remember London.

and I remember love.

We were...spirits calling in the night;

Restless angels taking flight.

We were...lock-stock rebels laughing light.

I remember, I remember, I remember London.
